3 Days Murchison falls N.Park wildlife safaris

The 3 Days Murchison Falls National Park Safari takes you to Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area,first gazetted as a game reserve in 1926, hosting 76 species of mammals including four of the “Big Five”, with huge herds of buffaloes and elephants, well-camouflaged leopards, a healthy population of lions and 451 birds.The park is bisected by the Victoria Nile, which plunges 45m over the remnant rift valley wall, creating the dramatic Murchison Falls, the centerpiece of the park and the final event in an 80km stretch of rapids.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchisonfalls National Park 
You will be picked up by our guide from your hotel after an early morning breakfast and begin the panoramic drive North-west through famous Luwero Triangle and Masindi Town to Murchison Falls National Park.You will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola district for Rhino tracking(optional) and then proceed to Masindi town for lunch. After lunch we continue with our journey to Murchison falls national and visit the top of the falls  where you can see the Nile’s beauty perfected! Marvel at the Nile,compressing from 50 meters to squeeze through a 8-meter wide gorge and plunges 45 meters with a thunderous roar into the “Devil’s Cauldron”, creating a trademark rainbow .Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise

Start the day with an early morning breakfast before setting out for a game drive where you get to see some of the parks prominent wildlife including elephants, giraffes, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks,Jackson’s Hartebeest, vervet monkeys, lions, Patas monkey, Olive Baboons.leopards and a variety of birds.After the morning game drive, you will head back to the lodge for a rest and lunch.In the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise on the Nile up to the bottom of the falls where you will  get an opportunity to see many various wildlife species like crocodiles, Hippos and a variety of the bird life that may include the african fish eagles and the shoe bill storks.Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return back to Kampala/Entebbe airport 

After an early morning breakfast, have another game drive and then drive back to Kampala or  to Entebbe airport for your flight back home.
