4 days rwanda gorillas, dian fossey and golden monkey tracking safaris

This tour gives you an opportunity to hike the Dian fossey‘s grave, then do Golden monkey trekking. But above all the climax of this safari is the Gorilla Tour, you will be given one hour to watch them and see how they feed and how they live in their families. 

Day1: Kigali-Volcanoes Gorilla Park
After breakfast from your hotel,you can enjoy a guided city tour and visit some interesting historical sites, including the Kigali Memorial Centre, Ntarama church, local markets .Have lunch in the kigali before you proceed to the most beautiful national park of the country Volcanoes National Park with the views of the beautiful terraced hillsides that show much of Rwanda’s landscape and take the amazing photographs.Dinner and overnight.

Day2: Gorilla Trekking  
After an early morninig breakfast, transfer to the park head quarters for briefing about the Dos and Don’ts while trekking the the mountain gorillas. Thereafter transfer to the point of gorilla trek and enter into the forest jungle to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. Trekking through the forest, hills and swamps can be tough, strenuous and tiring, sometimes taking from 1 to 8 hours in the forest. But coming in contact with the great primates is well worth the effort. which is a truly amazing experience.After coming across the gorillas, you will spend one hour in their company while taking their photos, observing their behaviour and feeding patterns which is a truly amazing experience and then go back to the park office for your gorilla tracking certificate.In the evening if time allows,have a visit to the Iby’wacu Cultural Village an eco place that showcase the Rwanda culture by the once gorilla hunters.

Day3: Dian Fossey hike
After breakfast ,enbark on the trek to the Dian Fossey grave and experience the conservation work that she geared to save the mountain gorillas in the mist and after being filled with this experience return to lodge for dinner and overnight

Day4: Golden Monkey Tracking- Departure
After an early breakfast you will go for Golden monkey trekking. You’ll trek through sun-dappled glades and dense stands of bamboo in search of these playful monkeys, who are well accustomed to visitors. This means you’ll be able to view the golden monkeys playing, feeding, and leaping from tree to tree as if you weren’t there. While your time with the monkeys is limited to an hour, this is ample time to see the inquisitive creatures in their natural habitat. Later return to the lodge and have lunch, then drive back to your hotel in Kigali or airport for your return flight back home
