This tour takes you to Uganda’s only rhino sanctuary known as Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary mainly for your rhino tracking activity.Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is located in Nakasongola district 176km (100 miles) north of Kampala on the Gulu
highway .It is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild.Presently the sanctuary is home to twenty two (22) southern white rhinos and has increasingly become popular with tourists.
Itinerary
After an early morning breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your residence and transfer you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda. Upon arrival, you can relax before embarking on your Rhino trekking adventure. This unique experience offers the opportunity to observe these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. While at the sanctuary, you may also encounter a variety of other wildlife species, including Uganda kobs, oribis, bushbucks, and waterbucks, as well as numerous bird species. After the trek, you will be transferred back to Kampala.
